I think everyone of them changed me a little, or gave me some perspective I didn't have,

besides like cheap cheap thrillers, genre fiction

ideally reading just adds to your knowledge and experiences, bit by bit.

Off the top of my head, it would be William Cooper’s behold a pale horse. That book changed my life from the time that I read it at 20 years old, to now. I know that you guys are going to crack on me about conspiracy theories, but, it just made me pay more attention to things. Especially the things that are right in your face.

Changes the focus from goals to habits/systems which get results.

For example: every team wants to win a championship. It’s not the goal that sets the tone, it’s the continuous habits/systems.

It’s a great look at changing behavior within yourself
Dammit, where is the GIF of the guy writing things down because I wanna read all these books y’all are talking about. The nerd in me is so turned on right now:troll:

The true story of the Clutter family and two ex-convicts who drove across Kansas to rob them.
Thanks. Going to have to check that out. I wonder if they have a documentary on it?

I am a woman. Now I’m curious, why did you say that?

The compound effect just talks about how your actions compound, how repetition effects results, and how stopping habits impacts things far more negatively than you think.

Start at 100.

50% increase takes you to 150
50% decrease from there takes you to 75
50% up from there brings you to 112.5
50% decrease brings you down to 56.25

Etc.
