Warren Moon. The guy basically spent his 20s in the CFL because the NFL was 
for black QBs and yet he was putting up numbers past his athletic prime when he finally got a shot. Imagine him starting in this version of the NFL from the start out of college

He didn't have a great college career. However, if he played in today's college offenses he would have crushed it and got a legit shot in the NFL.

In this whole thread only one person mentioned the first black qb to win the Heisman??? Smh
This man’s whole career would’ve played out differently. Hate to say it but dude probably would’ve never ended up signing to Houston if he came out nowadays.
I’ll give y’all another answer, Vida Blue. Dude signed with UH to play football with the expectation that he’d be the first black quarterback to play “major college football” in the sate of Texas. His father died and he ended up going pro in baseball and the rest is history. I remember one time seeing his high school stats, which were gaudy for that time period but I couldn’t find them just now.
