This thread made me realize ff kinda mid. If you asked this about dragon quest I would have said Keifer, Yangus, Gabo and the bytchy wife from DQV without question.

This thread made me realize ff kinda mid. If you asked this about dragon quest I would have said Keifer, Yangus, Gabo and the bytchy wife from DQV without question.

You only named characters from two back to back Dragon Quest games from 2000 and 2004 when the series finally came back state side after its best entries were released Japan only.

You named FF characters that were from 2001.

You cant call FF as a series mid and make a transparent, shallow attempt to use DQ for JRPG credibility (why bring up DQ otherwise after that rivarly was deaded after VII's sucess?) because of a era YOU came in on.

Clearly around and after 2000.
