What do you think the reaction would be?

Would people serve? Or would everyone protest and not serve?

My Uncle is a Vietnam Vet. Got drafted.

First thing out of his mouth when the subject of war comes up is: "they gonna send your azz over there.. Get ready."

That possiblity been in the front of my mind since a kid.

Kinda glad that I have aged out, on some subliminal shyt.

A draft? Nah. If we were up against some existential threat you'd more likely see them beefing up the drone tech to include humanoid robots and ground vehicles.

They will make the controller a Playstation/Xbox controller.

Then. All these gamers would be unleashing their COD, GTA, MK skills on real battlefields from the comfort of their mamas basement couch.

It would be more problematic today than in the past for the following reasons:
1. Weight requirements
2. Women's involvement
3. Exceptions i.e. college like during the last draft.
