DMX - The Great Depression.... I think it went platinum n it had some bangers but you could tell X had reached his peak and was only gonna start declinin' after this album.... Matter of fact X's decline started with Then There Was X... It wasn't easy to say at the time cuz of its commercial success... I own his first four albums, haven't even checked for him after that...

Jay-Z - Blueprint... I know I'm gonna get a lotta hate for this, but it's true... I liked TBA better... I was expectin' more from Jay with this project, but at this point he became corny to me, all that H to izzo garbage and he really dropped off lyrically n flow-wise with this album in my opinion... He never recovered in my own opinion (I think the reason is he became really rich n started worryin' more about his businesses)... TBA was hot cuz of the production....

Jadakiss - Debut Album... Always been a huge Jada fan but I gotta recognize he can't carry a whole album by himself.... I was expectin' more production wise also.... Features N group projects r his lane

Nas -Nastradamous - You kinda was expectin' this cuz of the huge drop off in quality from IWW to I Am... But damn, its like the GOAT ain't give a fukk about this shyt anymore... Thankfully the battle with the Camel happened n it ignited fire into his love for hip hop again or else we woulda lost him by the early 00s...

Eminem - Eminem Show, I was dissapointed in this album cuz I had just become a huge eminem fan off of MMLP... But this was real inconsistant bar 2 or 3 tracks I really fukk with includin' Till I Collapse... I was so dissapointed I didnt even wanna check for Encore when it dropped n I never did.... Safe to say TES was the last album I bought from him....

50 Cent -The Massacre... I was a huge 50 Cent fan n I fukked with this album for a while, but You always knew this wasn't GRODT quality... Still play some tracks off this album to this day, but it was the last 50 album I bought....

This is off the top of my head n Im only talkin bout albums I actually bought... Notice I ain't post any new albums cuz I stopped buyin records around 2004-5 :lolbron:
almost dapped this post but i can't cosign the blueprint

Mc hammer-let's get it started
Mc shan-play it again shan

Hammer was the shyt but I got the album and it sounded nothing like his songs on the radio and videos. I returned it the next day.

Mc shan had the streets loving "I ran the game" but the album was a weak version of new jack swing. I tossed that shyt in the pile. I only kept it cause "I ran the game" was my shyt.

Encore, Relapse, Recovery, MMLP2...4 stinkers in a row
The W, Iron Flag, 8 Diagrams....Wu as a group is kind of overrated...their last dope project was in 1997.
Amerikkaz Nightmare and Blood Money...wackness from the infamous mobb deep
The New Danger and Tru3 Magic...Mos Def was on some real bullshyt for a minute before he dropped The Estatic
808s and Heartbreaks & Yeezus...terrible albums
Big Pun - Yeahh Baby....terrible follow up to an arguable classic
C True Hollywood Stories....officially put Canibus in the bushes where he belongs
The Game-The Red Album...felt like the album was some bullshyt outside of The City with King Kendrick and Ricky....album officially put The Game in the bushes
Street Hop & Success Is Certain...Royce solo albums been all downhill since Death Is Certain.
Shaolin VS. Wu-Tang...thought Rae was on fire till he put this BS out...wasn't feeling this shyt at all.
The Greatest Story Never Told...ILLmatic my ass boring ass preachy album...Saigon is now irrelevant smh
:patrice: i thoght the red album was a classic. i never skip a track :manny:

I literally cried first time I heard "Tha Doggfather". Especially when that Track come on and dude be like "nikka think ya beats gonna be delicate not the Dr. Drizzay shook the spot. And then Snoop be like "Beats? Delicate? That's what makes he huh? Then he kicks a wackass freestyle over a shytty beat. shyt really broke a nikkas heart. The album had some songs I fukked wit though, but shyt overall was a major let down.

It's crazy how no one mentions the firm. Not even nas haters. It's like we have group denial from how bad that shyt was. shyt was just :sadbron:

Phone tap was good though :mjpls:
It was disappointing, but it was good for what it was. It was not a supergroup like it was billed. I enjoyed the cd minus Pretty Boy/Young Gavin.

The Firm album is the one album it seems all of hip hop did an eternal sunshine of the spotless mind trick to. The Firm as a group gets some love as hip hop lore because it was a "supergroup" but the album has been incepted out of our minds:leostare:
