Quick question for all

How much does the weather influence what you listen to ?

Back on topic played that Cru demos Vinyl

As for the album, it might've got more love if it was the dirty 20, 16 tracks and 4 skits is more than enough, still a good LP tho

Also props to Rassy for taking them to school

I’ll always listen to Hell on Earth on a cold raw winter day

Any suggestions on similar albums with that same vibe?

The same/similar vibe would probably be shyt you know like other QB shyt (CNN, Mobb affiliates, Royal Flush etc.) Wu shyt, I'll drop some NY specific recommendations later

If we're going a bit darker then I'll post who I consider the greatest emcee period, Would've been posted by now if he wasn't so prolific to this day

Group = 2 DJs/Producers and one Emcee

Edit: adding 2 more "known" tracks (by college radio standards)

Some may have missed this but there was a thread

Dope release - Rare + shelved/Unreleased + alt versions etc. although they may have spread it thin. 16 tracks but less than 29

Out of their early releases this was always my least favorite (still is), "Mood Pieces" is undoubtedly the ONE, go back n forth with "South Central Thynk Taynk" and P.A.I.N.T as #2

This release it seems like at times he was freestyling, improvising, singing poorly but all while having fun doing it.
Enjoyed this spin though. Much slower BPMs than the other LPs but I was in the mood for something slower and laidback overall.

Slow Lights remains the highlight.

Some hold it in high regard and it does have some forward thinking moments but overall kinda light in the ass

Felt like I was being attacked by a thousand Daffodils
