WM12 - Michaels vs Hart main event -

WM13 - Taker vs Sid main event, Bret-Austin and LOD all on the show, no Shawn -
218k buys
I would have expected an uptick in buys for 13 if Shawn was such an anti-draw
Fact is, the higest drawing WWF PPV of 1997 wasn't WrestleMania (the one Shawn missed), it was Survivor Series 97 (If memory serves me right, HBK was in the main event). Pretty sure 1997 is the only year in which a non-Mania PPV drew the most buys. Really makes you think.
The evidence seems to suggest that in reality HBK was a middling draw, neither GOAT nor WOAT level as a dime-getter, but you want to make believe he was the absolute worst because you don't like him
