You didn't have mats on the outside back in the day, just cold, dirty concrete. I guess the argument is getting thrown over the top is more dangerous than through the middle. Either way, I'm trying to avoid getting thrown outside if I'm a wrestler.Yeah I remember Heyman mentioning this at the 2001 survivor series. Seriously who thought that rule made sense?
This was talked about on the Bruce Prichard podcast:
The Dudley Boyz threatened to pull tha lever and pour concrete on Paul Bearer if Taker lost da match to them.
Taker goes on to beat the Dudley’s, then goes to pull the lever himself even though he won da match.
Bruce said Vince’s reasoning behind it was “If Taker was willing to kill Paul Bearer, think about what he’d do to his opponent/enemy.”

he was clearly supposed to pin all of them but then said fukk it because the referee counted anyway
WELL YOU SEE, BROTHER! THE THING WAS, DUDE!Hulk Hogan twice in a strap match ending the match by pinning his opponents and it counting.
in the 1st match tagged the 3rd turnbuckle, hit the leg drop...1...2...3
in the 2nd match..tagged the 3rd turnbuckle, hit the leg drop...1...2...3..then tagged the 4th turnbuckle
FLAIR BLED FIRST BUT IT WAS THE WRONG BLOOD TYPE AND WASN'T COMPATIBLE WITH THE STIPULATIONS, BROTHER!WCW Uncensored 1999 - Flair vs Hogan "Barbed Wired Steel Cage First Blood Match" for the WCW Championship
They made it VERY clear that the only way to win is to make the other person bleed first..... so tell me why:
1. Why this match have THREE stipulations? A "barbed wired hardcore match", "Steel Cage Match" and "First Blood Match"... it was just overkill to the fullest
2. Flair was the first to bleed and NOT lose
3. Flair won the match by pinfall in a FIRST BLOOD RULES match
As a kid I was like, commentators were hella confused as well like
