I'm watching a match with Muta/Austin. Muta was DQ'd for tossing Austin over the top rope. What kind of shytty finish is that?!

Ambrose vs Wyatt tlc 2014. Ambrose readies to hit Wyatt with a tv monitor that still has the cable attached. Doesn’t bother to see if it’s long enough or to unplug the cable. Cable snaps and the tv explodes in his face. Wyatt runs in and hits his move for the win. Now Wyatt looks weak and Ambrose looks stupid. I should note there was nothing at stake in this feud and the match closed the event.

I wish there was a wrestler whose gimmick was that he carried the Big Book of Rules and demanded the ref disqualify his opponent for all the illegal shyt people do nowadays. Punch with a closed fist? DQ. Kick? DQ. Using the ropes or turnbuckle for any sort of advantage? DQ.
And of course, when the ref's not looking, he smashes the other guy with the book.

Growing up in the south we just took that as a normal rule. To this day when people are thrown over the top rope I half expect a DQ.

That whole feud was a result of creative having nothing for them and it became a waste of 3 months for them.
Sad part is that lazy booking still happens to this day
In WCW Bill Watts did the over the top rope DQ.
Also made it illegal to jump off the top rope.
His idea was if you’re going to do those things, psychologically have it make sense and find a way for the ref to not see it happen. Something to that nature

The Dudley Boyz threatened to pull tha lever and pour concrete on Paul Bearer if Taker lost da match to them.
Taker goes on to beat the Dudley’s, then goes to pull the lever himself even though he won da match.
Bruce said Vince’s reasoning behind it was “If Taker was willing to kill Paul Bearer, think about what he’d do to his opponent/enemy.”
