And in respect to Face Off it was Nicolas Cage that sliced off his face skin, a much better actor than Travolta he made it too believable

My pops had Akira on VHS when I was a kid. He told me not to watch it but I did one day after school when he was at work. That shyt fukked me up no lie. Was feeling weird as hell the next few days.

If you were young enough, a lot of those older animes would be emotionally jolting, especially because it’s really a story about kids, I can see it striking some sort of nerve inside.
