got no love because the beats weren't very good. I bought this and he went from Primo to doing his own beats.
Ready to Die wasn't a concept album hahaha. And neither are a lot of other posted. A concept album is like a movie in which each song tells a story that coincides with the previous and following.
what beats weren't very good? I thought the production was dope
def different than his first two joints but "not good" or "wack" hell no
nikkas was on premo dikk cause Jeru had beef with gangstarr is all
MF DOOM as a super-goon slash rapper from the future who comes back in time to..... just fukk around and make money, really.
i love Jeru and I don't care about his beef with Primo. If I cared about the beef, I wouldn't have have bought his album. There was no youtube back then so you had to buy the album or go to a store that allowed you to listen to it fist. You don't go from The wrath of the Math to those type of beats. Truthfully, those beats were worse than Canibus' debut and he had some bangers on it, but everyone swears the beats were wack. There aint a beat on Jeru's 3rd album as good as "get retaded". Group home's 2nd album is better than this
hold up, you think the Wrath of the Math is overrated, but Heroz for Hire is dope?? Is this a joke? Or did you have production on Heroz for hire? It's one of the 2."Get retarded" w/ the roxanne shante sample was the ONLY beat/song I liked on that canibus joint if you think that album was better beat wise than Jeru's 3rd......I don't even know what to say to that...that shyt was unlistenable to me "Wrath of the Math" is a bit overrated I never play that shyt to each his own tho
