What are key indicators that you in the hood of a city?

I was thinking about this and taking to my brother about how you know you in the hood of any city. Some things I came up with:

1) Any street named MLK Blvd., Dr., Rd, St. usually ain’t a good sign honestly

2) You’re usually not near the prime attractions or prime real estate of a city

3) The area contains a bunch of streets packed together that are named as numbers I.E ( 4th street, 15th ave, etc.)

4) Strangely you are usually closer to the airport in that city, assuming that the more upscale areas/neighborhoods don’t want to hear planes taking off and landing all day

5) Usually a highway runs thru it/separates it from other parts of the area

I know I’m in a place I don’t need to be, when there’s 10 grown Hispanics loitering in front of a store, none being above 5’5. There’s always a bunch of trash around there too. I don’t even bother driving to phoenix for this reason

Anywhere where decent sized groups of men are congregating in the middle of a weekday.

Chicken shacks and liquor stores are literally next to each other.

every block: church, liquor store, chinese food, check cashing place…

Gas stations don't let you in after a certain time and have that little window you gotta talk/pay through

Way more liquor stores than other parts of city

1. They sell full meals at the gas station.

2. Multiple barbershops/hair salons.

3. Graffiti, tags, gang shyt.

4. Potholes everywhere and shytty streets.

5. Old ass buildings that look run down and not preserved.

6. Litter everywhere.

7. Homeless people.

8. No name brand gas stations.

9. Security bars and guards walking around stores.

10. Liquor stores.

strays... cats or dogs.. until they get to the asians spots... u wont see benji odie or garfield...

bus stops

gas stations that's not shell exxon chevron

super food marts or any variant of it
