Fishing, pottery, photography, painting, record collecting, gardening, crochet...world's your oyster...

IMO, opinion being the operative word, it kinda depends on the movies you're watching, personally, I find adults really, really into capeshyt to be kinda childish...but I like pretentious foreign and/or really old films so hey

I never played video games like that so I can't speak on it

No one on twitter is going to pay for your hobbies, so why even concern yourself with what they think of them? It is your money and time, do what you will with it so long as it harms no one.

Man do whatever you want too.

My "kid" hobbies i do regularly are:
  • video games (a lot)
  • listening to rap music (according to some)
  • playing with my dog
  • occasionally read comic books

my "grownup" hobbies i do regularly are
  • golf
  • smoke cigars
  • watch sports and go to games
  • cook
  • collect and research watches
  • art...reading, going to exhibitions, collecting.
  • reading and listening to books
  • volunteer work (naacp)

But i dont seperate them in my mind like that

I picked up RC cars during pandemic and it's been a fun hobby I can share with my son and it keeps me off the streets racing my SS. :lolbron:

Hobbies you don't see much anymore:
Train set collecting/building
.
Someone mentioned trains :krs:

Train simulators replaced model trains for the younger gen of train buffs from what I seen. I have both train sim classic and train sim world installed on my PC.

Also collecting model trains is NOT a broke boi hobby, the trains themselves cost hundreds of dollars.

300 for four NYC subway cars :damn:

400 for one Amtrak locomotive :damn:

I think the reason model trains fell in addition to sims is the price.

Also train sim more realistically recreate the real thing (visually :whoa: not operations wise :whoa: ) compared to model trains
