I wonder if after this film it's CSM season 2 or JJK season 3 next for Mappa :jbhmm:
I mean for anyone that has read Part 1 of CSM, the way the movie ends just feels natural for them as it sets up the main antagonist of part one quite well. I'd say doing S2 of CSM next would make sense. Plus it's been 3 years since S1 they have to be waiting to air the movie & S2 close enough together to generate hype.

Meanwhile, Shibuya finished Act I/first half of the story for JJK. The anime is at a good stopping point since these two series share the same production teams from Mappa. Once CSM PT 1 is done, they can fully focus on JJK.

Well, that is looking at the situation logically :pachaha:

So far they've scheduled it in a way that's 1 project per series though. JJK0 (film) --> CSM S1 --> JJK S2 --> CSM Reze Arc (film).

It is true that finishing up part 1 for CSM makes more sense though, they could actually do it in 1 cour if they don't re-adapt the Reze Arc as a TV seasonal and just go straight for the final 3 arcs of part 1.

I wonder if it's all dependent on how the Reze film does. If it once again does below Mappa's expectations I have hard time believing they'd push Culling Games for 2027.

Watched Episode 1 of "Once Upon a Witch's Death". Basically, the premise is that a witch named Meg has 1 year left to live. It seems like a mix of SoL, coming of age and Fantasy Drama. It seems like a more laid-back show.

Solo leveling already gonna be a couple years before coming back on anime and damn
Sequel to it just ended on a cliffhanger saying end of chapter that season 1 is done gonna take break to plan season 2 I need my fix :to:

Also whether u read it or not and assuming it will get animated years later still got the OG to animate

Be aware mahwa has gone a different path to the novel so they have become 2 separate entities apparently at the moment nobody knows if it will go back on same path but there are differences between the 2

Solo leveling source has always been novel with the manhwa secondary

Just like reincarnated as a slime source is novel and manga is secondary

Depending on studio some go by the manga for the series and some go by the novel just depends on who is in charge slime has went by the manga not the novel
