This episode almost finished adapting volume 9 by adapting chapters 83+84 along with all of chapter 85 except the final two pages.

Rip the guys at SF-Zoo, they thought they had Lycagon, but in reality Lycagon had them. Honestly, the bit of Animalia was good since games give us the opportunity to experience things in life that we enjoy, but we simply can't. Although I do find it funny looking at the faces of the animals that Animalia was with at the moment.

Really nice moment for both Rei and Sunraku. Since forming the clan with Arthur and OiKatzo, he has to do deal with some politics. The other being others have been poking their nose in his unique scenario. It is interesting that Rei noticed this isn't the usual Sunraku. Easily her best moment in the anime so far, and now the two of them will set out to fight Lycagon.

God damn fantastic episode. The comedy, the flashback and twists were so good in this one :wow: :whew:

God, this show is incredible. We really dived into Hizuki's past, and honestly, you can feel for her more and more. It is clear from the pictures she had a happy life. The whole bathing scene with Veltol and Hizuki had me rolling. I think Hizuki just has to acknowledge at these points these guys are just insane, but in a good way. Got to love Veltol and how his confidence can be endearing, and it gets people to want to be besides him. The scene had him throwing the duck to the other side to show that he is willing to be there for her. For once, she accepted the companionship.

My god, the flashback was so sad for Hizuki. Seeing Hizuki as a kid and full of life was so sad because we know how is she being now. She is so defensive, and we can't blame her. To lose her parents at that age must have been so hard. Though, things started getting rolling when Veltol and Hizuki encountered Faceless in the hallway. It is interesting that these guys are above Marcus, which has me curious. Though, I love how Veltol got heated for them calling themselves a hero.

Honestly, the twist that happened in the episode was so good. The use of Tratte as the red herring was great. Considering how considerate, Seburd was in his conversation with Veltol it felt hard to be suspicious of him. With Tratte we had no insight if her wishes to help Hizuki were coming from the heart. So when we see Tratte kill Seburd we are like, oh that makes sense.

But in reality it was Professor Mag, and she basically hijacked Tratte's body. I wonder if she is a long-term villain of this series, perhaps? Though Faceless might be the better name to use, since the real Mag might have been a victim like Tratte. In reality, the fact that Faceless has sent people to go after Hizuki just makes her backstory even sadder.

Looks like next episode, Veltol will be encountering the Goddess Meldia. I honestly think the fight itself isn't the approach, but rather how he can calm down both Hizuki and the Goddess. Tbh if we think about the Goddess has been the one protecting Hizuki. But you can argue the Goddess apologizing because if Hizuki was born a normal kid she could have a normal life. The Goddess I wonder has a good amount of guilt. Much like Gram, where he joined forces, but making a promise. I think this is a situation that Veltol will promise to be there for Hizuki and the Goddess alongside Machina and Takahashi.

The pacing did feel a bit fast, and I think one more episode could have smoothed out the pacing. It would be nice to get the girls bonding with Hizuki more. Plus more stuff and foreshadowing of Mag stealing Tratte's body.

Finished Meido-sama and honestly this show has pretty mediocre since it feels like Yuki's side of the story was cool. But everything surrounded the Mc felt like he was a useless self insert. But then I learned that the anime ended right before something that could have been hella interesting.

Finished watching, Let This Grieving Soul Retire.

Man as much as psychological crazy as the Smart sisters are, Krai is a fukking scumbag :lolbron:

Those that liked Emmience in Shadow should def give it a try. It's more pure fukkery compared to Emmience in Shadow, which was a mix of Action with serious plot, Parody and fukkery.

Watching up to episode 19 of Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest

The conclusion of this one felt better. Though that more has to do with the fact that Aldoron was scum. Though it does male things interesting, each Dragon has a different personality that makes them tick. Dragons above all honestly isn't surprising since Dragons are essentially Gods here. The fact that Aldoron mocked Igneel for coexisting with humans is all you need to say.

Next is Selene. And she is much cunning and manipulative then the first two dragons, so let's see where this goes. There is also the White Mage whom she brings up Elentear, curious who that is.

I always feel some type of way when an anime injects "feels" into the middle of an escapist fantasy...

:mjcry:

I don't even like animals like that, and that line just hit me hard.

  • As a manga reader, SxF is a series that only gets better the further you get into the series. Overall, it's an enjoyable SoL, although the world building is great. I will admit the SoL portion of the 2nd half of S1 can feel a struggle. But once you get to the boat arc, the series finds its rhythm and hasn't lost it yet.
  • MHA has a good start. But it loses its identity in what it is after S3. It is simply poor executed generic Shounen. If you haven't watched Demon Slayer or Black Clover, I would def recc those first since those are more generic Shounen with good execution
  • Skip Shield Hero because it falls off after 4 episodes. Turns into bigger :trash: the longer you continue. If you are looking for isekai it is quite varied.
    • Character Driven and Well Written - Bookworm
    • World building Driven - Overlord, Slime
    • Comedy - Konosuba, Emmience in Shadow, Uncle from Another World, No Longer Allowed from another world
  • Hells Paradise anime was decent. It didn't match the outstanding art from the manga, but it is a very solid series. If you like JJK you will like it.
