Perfect Blue......

Reminded me of a more humanistic version of SEL. Character slowly loses their grip on reality & is driven to the brink of insanity, only here there's a murder plot and the story is told from the viewpoint of two additional characters dealing with their own obsessions.

Been on my watch list for years, finally got it out the way. Satoshi Kon is (was, RIP) a cinetomography God. The way he used transitions to blend in dream sequences with reality kept me guessing until the end where everything was put together. Hard to predict the outcome of the film until it actually arrives, can appreciate that.

Very good movie. Black Swan is indebted to it.
