A bit of a lot to digest, but it goes with the themes that this series has been developing since the start of the series. Great episode.

You know I was curious how Takeru would propose to find a solution for both sides and the first one sacrificing Senya was really the Void People getting what they want. Though the Void People willing to give up their lives definitely got to Senya. Though learning that this was a temporary solution would never be enough to convince Senya, but he got to empathize with them.

I think a lot of what Neko-sensei elaborated on was that in life, there are good outcomes and bad outcomes. Much in life, you need to take the good with the bad. You're changing fate to offer good outcomes, karma will build up and what we have the cosmos offer a bad outcome of great proportions. Unfortunately, the edgy one will just seek out a solution that doesn't exist instead of living life how it is meant to be.

Honestly, Mudo's character development since we first met him is so good. Douren really got him on the right track, and he went from a child who is now actually growing up because he is aware of his immaturity. I love Shinsuke making sure Senya doesn't get away because running off on his own is a bad habit of his. At this point, the last plot thread is now dealing with Jinka.

Damn, they popped off for this episode :whew:

You know, I had a feeling Horn was going to do something since Freya kept her alive. Though, her position is really fukked up when you think about it. Horn simply wants to serve Freya and preserve her happiness. In an ideal world, she wants Freya as the Goddess Freya and not the normal girl. So Bell being alive is a threat to that. The wild card for Thorn is that she and Freya are connected. The thing connected is Syr. It makes sense, but it is tragic how Freya's feelings are connected to Horn as well. For Horn, she is at a contradiction, since her happiness would come at the expense of Freya deep inside. So her request is to save Freya because she has been holding the people she made connections with as Syr like Ryu and Anya.

The interesting moment when Bell confronts Freya is that he is in control of the conversations. He very well knows the pain Freya is feeling and her time as Syr wasn't some game she put to the side, but it is things she holds dear to her heart. This truly felt like we were seeing the Syr side of Freya here.

Meanwhile, what Hermes was working in the background was gathering firewood that had Hestia's blood. As Hestia mentions, she is the Virginal Goddess, so it makes sense why she was never charmed. She is essentially immune to it. From what I understand, Firewood generates the Familial signs for each person, and now Hestia's blood is within each one. With that, they broke free of Freya's control and with everyone remembering, this was too big of damage for Freya to deal with all of a sudden. Gotta really credit Hestia's patience here because we all know how much she adores Bell. To ignore the pain, he was going through is awful.

Though, Loki and Finn said that the Guild won't approve a legit brawl. Though the adventurers are angry and rightfully so. Freya essentially did taboo here. So here we got Freya declaring a War Game because that is all she can do. We got 6 episodes for a War Game, I imagine, so this should be much better paced then how it was in S2.

I gotta go back to HIDIVE to get my Danmachi fix. Damn it Crunchyroll. :francis:
HIDIVE is the worst and they have the nerve to raise their prices. They barely have any exclusive content and their app is terrible. I'll watch a show only to have it not remember where I left off and start the whole season over.

I mean, both it and Crunchyroll are both shyt. Crunchy has a better catalog, but the service breaks down way too often, and they even forget to put subs on their shows. As the Sony monopoly increases, the worse their service has been. Honestly, Crunchyroll was at their best when they were a pirate site :dead: It's only gonna get worse once Sony buys Kadokawa.

HiDive UI is pretty shyt and not surprising they don't have much for exclusives. Desktop works fine, tho.

At the end of the day it is more optimal to pirate anime as you get a better experience tbh.
