Man shyt gets more and more depressing :mjcry:

Didn't realize that Asufi left town with Ryu, but that was good to see. Though staging a comeback against Freya will be hard. Even more so when Ouranos points out to Hestia that it is futile essentially. Though I am curious the bit of the Ganesha Family and I feel like Ouranos has something planned that can't be revealed yet. After all Ganesha Family is the one that he specially assigned to the Xenos task in S3.

The big topic for this episode is Syr really dead? We learn that Anya was not charmed interesting enough. It appears that her brother is at least a little soft since it seems he made a deal with Freya. Also, I wonder why Mia, the owner of the bar wasn't either. So we learn much like Ryu, Anya was saved by Syr. The fact that Freya goes ahead and shows that she was Syr this whole time is just heartbreaking.

Though luring out Ryu was her main goal, which worked. I am impressed for Ryu not truly fall into despair as fast as Anya. Though the having the threesome with Bell was an odd point. Perhaps this is a showcase how much Freya as Syr thinks of Ryu as a friend?

Though the end of the episode really showed there are some cracks. She mentions to Ryu it was just a game, but clearly she enjoyed her time as Syr enough to keep coming back. Then we got the hesitation to fully charm Ryu, and it makes me wonder how much she holds on to her memories as Syr. The thought that the one who was her best friend to just forgotten about her is heartbreaking. Even more interesting, as Bell asks about her, you see the hesitation and sadness she feels about losing Ryu as a friend. Of course, Bell speaks from experience and the possibility to keep Ryu as a friend. Though Freya reminding him of Syr is very interesting, and it makes me wonder if Bell will recognize Freya as Syr even when Freya is out.

Horn is one wild card, and it would be interesting if she rebelled against Freya.

Man they executed this episode to perfection :wow: :mjcry:

This episode adapted chapters 16-18. The end of the fight has been adapted to the consistency of the show, but holy damn the Acrobatic Silky flashback was adapted so well. Once again, this anime excels in its cinematography and how it can capture the feeling of what the person is going through. S++ tier adaptation stuff.

You know its funny when Momo told Okarun to go after Acrobatic Silky he was unsure how to do it. I guess when he is in Turbo Granny form it just comes to him, maybe. Always getting a little more of the banter.

The reality after the fight was really good because Aira was dead. In the world of the supernaturals, we don't have the power of friendships here. The flashback gave us a great insight into Acrobatic Silky as she was a loving mother who did the best for her child. Time was ticking and slowly bit by the unfortunate realities were about to hit her. Just seeing them take away her child was heartbreaking. You think if she had her daughter she could continue on, but she lost her whole purpose in living.

Then she wakes up after she dies, and her attachment was her daughter. Sadly, we don't know what happened to her true daughter, but Aira sees her, which is really interesting. I think when Aira called her mommy, it brought the connection and made her believe that Aira was her daughter. She sought to make sure to protect her daughter, although this time that daughter was Aira. One of the joys of parenting is experiencing the love with your child and obviously, even if she was always watching out for Aira she never received the love a parent received from her child and I think that is what broke her. This episode did a fantastic job of getting you to empathize with the Acrobatic Silky and knowing that her happiness was stolen from her.

Turbo Granny outlining once again without an Aura her death is inevitable. Aira offers the one thing that Acrobatic Silky have to be able to move on. The love a parent receives from their child. While Aira isn't her true daughter, that doesn't mean she can't give her that peace of mind to move on. This truly shows the Yokai part of the shows isn't black or white. Most of them suffered in some way and there is a reason they are still hanging around. Fantastic episode from start to finish.

The best part of episode 7 of Blue Box is learning how Natsu deals with criticism from another team. For someone like her who isn't expressing for her to basically say I'll let my my game do the talking and that will shut them up really offered an interesting bit of her character. She might not show it on her face, but she hears this and remembers it as it serves as extra motivation.

Easily one of the most beautiful works of animation I've ever seen. The direction was immaculate.

Never thought DanDaDan would shift in tone like that:wow::mjcry:

I'm loving this show.

Another well animated and directed episode.

Well, no surprise Grimmjow went off going on his own though Ichigo coming to his rescue is ironic.

Honestly, Renji did as well as he could have done since we had the expected Ichigo vs Uryu rematch that obviously will happen. Plot armor was going against Renji slightly. Uryu might have gotten him, but it was clear, like Ichigo, Renji didn't have the resolve to kill Uryu. Though there is the distinction that if Renji was willing to kill Uryu, he would have won, I suppose.
