@LordDeathwatch @tripleaamin @Mr. Negative
Since I’m waiting on danmachi keep me in loop with your impressions I’m waiting for a certain episode to where shyt pop off at the moment cuz it’s crucial to how it will elevate this season even more kinda like Mushoku tensei where I still think the displacement incident wasn’t portrayed how truly big of deal and how bad it was in the anime imo but they nailed everything else
I’m just real hyped for this season of danmachi since it’s got my fav vol of any series adapted
The next arc whenever that gets adapted is wild as hell so far tho I can tell you that
What’s sad is spin-off sword oratoria might be better than the main series I know it got anime which I haven’t seen but heard how bad it was I ended up reading it and man it’s worth it
I like the pacing for this season, there's been no "empty space" unlike past seasons. Creates a sense of urgency and tension, it feels like that Moss Huge was just the tip of the iceberg, which is horrible for these fools considering how it did Aisha and the rest. I'm also curious as to where they go with this mermaid creature, she said the rest of the Xenos went even further in so that's a plot point I find interesting.

Also making the Supporter their tactician eliminated her uselessness, which is great.

Waiting till all fan sub episodes release so I can binge it.

Yea Ais is really underwhelming in the anime and especially in SO anime adaptation. I assume she is much much more fleshed out in the novel since she seems like a character that relies on internal monolouges.

She comes off as a dense zombie in the anime.
Ya she has a lot of internal monologue which fleshes her out but even then she does talk alot on the novel.
SO novel shows how other familias interact with each other and that even high level adventures like aiz do be getting seriously fukked up
Kaguya-sama really is the GOAT romcom. Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten might give it a run for it's money though.
Angel next door is different but man that shyt is elite tier romcom for me like kaguya but it’s more just pure romance than romcom tho imo

Crunchyroll was suggesting Fairy Tail, so I went back and tried to rewatch that last season. I realized I made a terrible mistake.

This shyt is paper thin. :scust:
I always thought Fairy Tail was straight. It's not great but it was watchable. If you went into it with moderate expectations it could meet them. I stopped after the first season but at some point I'll finish it.

Kinda disappointed it got a sequel series that's also getting an anime. Naruto, Bleach, and Fairy Tail all either have a sequel series or in Bleach's case are threatening one. Hopefully One Piece ends and manages to be final.

There are just so many issues, it hasn't aged well at all. There are so many tropes, the fan service reached a point where it's laughable, the fights stop making sense because they broke the power system, the plot evaporated because they telegraph everything.

Everything that made it passable at the beginning is absolutely lost by the end of the 2nd season. They had an interesting magic system but it gets completely bushed with characters winning off of literal friendship. No other explanation, just friendship.

I don't mind a turn your brain off show every now and again but this is just bad.

Re-used animation like its early 90s anime with none of the flavor or fluidity. 🤢
