Facts, Gin's Zanpaktou would erase 99% of characters. shyt is low-key foul.
The only character in the big three that got done worse than Gin by the author was Ace with Oda. Both should have more of a chance to flex what they were about, but Ace died so Luffy would finally train and Gin died so we knew how overpowered Aizen was.

DanMachi flexing on these hoes. Giving us season ending level eps 5 eps in. That plant monster may be my favorite villain of the year, making whole sqads look inept and foolish. Troll game on a trillion.

The Dragonball thread starting to throw shots at One Piece fans again. The fukkery is unrivaled especially since both are coming off weak ass pulls to close out their latest arcs. :deadrose:

Stop being nice, their whole arcs were ass. Both had fire arcs previously, then follow it up by shytting the place up :russ:

yeah, y'all all know I'm all about some girly-centric anime/manga/comics, but Lycoris protagonist is damn near the most annoying anime lead I've ever seen. Her almost literal "ZOMG KAWAII" personality sticks out like a sore thumb compared to the tone of the rest of the show. It's an excellent show otherwise, but I had to put it on the "will watch later" list.
I def feel that. Either its fine or it can be annoying, tho I don't mind personally.

Ironically, back in S2 we had a mini arc done in like 2 episodes with awful pacing. Now we get a boost in production and pacing due to episode count increase. :wow:

Black Summoner is extremely mid.

Stuff I need to watch: Call of the Night (which should be a no brainer, if you knew my history of wandering around at night and doing absolutely nothing)

Made in Abyss (The whole show. Never watched an ep)

Favorite shows right now: Tie between Summer Time Rendering and DanMachi
Man this show is so phenomenal. Interesting characters, top tier world building and very intriguing story. But it can be a lot, which is why the show really aint popular even among the hardcore crowd.

Def gonna start STR once it ends in October with fan subs. Disney got a top 2 show in both spring and summer and we got no info from them at all when we getting it. :unimpressed:

Yo, I thought I was the only one rooting for the Moss Huge. Plant breh was straight trolling picking up the Monster crystals in the aftermath of the battle while they're fighting for their lives.

nikka was throwing em back like Doritos while they're bleeding to death.:deadrose:

Gin really did get done dirty AF but it was all in service of making the turn more surprising, which it was. Man got to showcase next to nothing for YEARS and when he did get a chapter/scene in an episode, it was always hype and well received. So much wasted potential.

:mjlol:

I was trying to be lenient with these fools but for both to have arcs that have lasted years, they were definitely underwhelming with some lit moments.

Since I’m waiting on danmachi keep me in loop with your impressions I’m waiting for a certain episode to where shyt pop off at the moment cuz it’s crucial to how it will elevate this season even more kinda like Mushoku tensei where I still think the displacement incident wasn’t portrayed how truly big of deal and how bad it was in the anime imo but they nailed everything else
I’m just real hyped for this season of danmachi since it’s got my fav vol of any series adapted
The next arc whenever that gets adapted is wild as hell so far tho I can tell you that
What’s sad is spin-off sword oratoria might be better than the main series I know it got anime which I haven’t seen but heard how bad it was I ended up reading it and man it’s worth it

Yea Ais is really underwhelming in the anime and especially in SO anime adaptation. I assume she is much much more fleshed out in the novel since she seems like a character that relies on internal monolouges.

She comes off as a dense zombie in the anime.

Toonami Executive Weighs In on Shenmue Season 2 Rumors

Shenmue The Animation is one of the biggest original anime series to be created by Toonami, with the Cartoon Network programming block partnering with Crunchyroll to adapt the beloved video game franchise. In a recent question and answer session on Twitter, the co-creator of the platform, Jason DeMarco, took the opportunity to break down the chances of the series focusing on the adventures of Ryo making a return in the future, giving fans an idea regarding the future of the video game adaptation.

The first season of Shenmue The Animation took a major opportunity in telling Ryo's story to wrangle in viewers familiar with the beloved video game franchise, with the initial episodes numbering thirteen episodes total. With the video game series having three titles to its name, there are still plenty of stories that the Toonami series has yet to adapt. A second season has yet to be confirmed at this point, though fans took the opportunity to ask Jason DeMarco directly as to whether or not the video game adaptation would eventually be making a comeback. Whether or not Shenmue does eventually return, it's clear that Toonami still has plenty of original series coming down the pike.

Jason DeMarco used his Official Twitter Account to walk fans through the chances of Shenmue The Animation returning for a second season, with the return of Ryo Hazuki seemingly having a chance of around 60-70% of making a comeback on the Cartoon Network programming block in the future:

When it comes to the video game series that first arrived on the Sega Dreamcast decades ago, there are no current plans for a Shenmue 4 following the recent revival of the series via its third installment. The anime came about thanks in part to Toonami partnering with Crunchyroll, bringing on the animation studio Telecom Animation Film, which was a similar scenario to how Fena: Pirate Princess was created.

Do you want to see Shenmue The Animation return for a second season? Where would you want to see Ryo go if the anime series were to make a comeback? Feel free to let us know in the comments or hit me up directly on Twitter @EVComedy to talk all things comics, anime, and the world of anime video game adaptations.
