Essential What Anime are you currently watching?

They literally sit around in COTE talking smack to each other about power levels and who's stronger than who else. It's like how Food Wars is a battle manga at it's heart but about characters doing battle through cooking food. COTE is a battle manga at it's heart but about characters doing battle through intelligence and schemes. That's also what Death Note is.

Yeah, that's why I made the comparison between this and Death Note. Because I kinda see what you're getting at. But I'm anime only and have only seen the first season. The stalker thing, getting a dude to study, and that ridiculous pool episode all felt hella side-tracked. As the season went on and Class C really felt more like antagonists, I can see what you mean. The last couple of arcs definitely felt more like Death Note. But it didn't always feel like a battle manga/anime with some of those other subplots that carried across episodes.

Finally caught up with Call of the Night. Its decently endearing in its own way. Music is cool too, but what steals the show is the night theme atmosphere and as a nikka who barely sleeps the show resonated with me. Great color schemes for the scenery. Story nothing special unless u into demonic supernatural shyt.

I always get confused when I try to watch Gundam. I'll check out Mercury series when it releases.
