One Piece got to the point that it has 3 minute openings with 5 minutes of recap on a 20 minute episode. Once you pass the time skip it'll probably be rough to watch.

What's a good website, social media account, or youtube channel that posts anime trailers with English subs? I subscribe to one but getting annoyed that it seems most of the trailers have no English subs

I got my daughters into it just last year, so I understand what you're looking at. It's a daunting number of episodes and the artwork and animation is AWFUL  early  on. Also there's no denying that it's corny, you have to set your normal standards aside for some of the abilities and character designs.

All of that said, it's worth the initial investment. If for no other reason, it's sheer number of episodes ensures you'll always have something to watch. Is it GOAT tier as the hype would suggest? fukk no but it is good.

I'm not familiar with what anime are on what platforms but it probably is just Crunchyroll anime

I mean you aren't wrong considering how much content is in these novels. Hell a proper adaptation was thrown out the window since it is just 3 cours for what you mentioned when it should have been 6.

Still, I prefer to stay optimistic. I liked S1, did it live up to the source? No. But I still felt it did a good enough job and got me invested enough into the series.

These novels are crazy. The main character is still a mystery through the first 6 novels. The postscript of novel 7 which I'm guessing will be end of season 2 or start of season 3 suggest they're finally going to get into his past.

This is a case where the anime is noticeably inferior to the novels but it did its job because of the first season I started reading them.
