People going to sleep on the 12 Kizuki, but they already put 2 hashira out of business. And they were of the lower end of the Kizuki spectrum.

I'm say Akatsuki, Espadas, Kizuki, Phantom Troupe, then Homunculi. I can't rank the demon clan since I don’t watch/read 7 deadly sins.

I can’t front…. I too don’t know too much about the Kizuki either…. But let that last arc that brother/sister combo was strong as fukk and they were lower on the squad so I can only imagine stronger members.

I’m kinda stuck between Akatsuki and Espadas as from what I recall…. We never really got to see how Nel really is…. I know the other 3 above her were strong as fukk but they kinda met their doom with some match ups that was perfect against them.

I feel we sleeping on the Homunculi though and the Phantom Troupe are some wild cards

No doubt their cold asf especially Itachi, probably the best team beside the phantom troupe on the list in terms of the story but the Espada just different. Obito will be the main problem though.

The Espada was all just overly powerful…. Not saying they are stupid but I don’t recall many of them being like high level battle tactically like some folks in the other squads. Like even the Akatsuki…. For the most part everyone of them were great “Chess players” per say. They didn’t rely completely on their power.

While yes Yang IS questionable in a lot of ways lmao - you gotta remember that the most prominent positions in the entire alliance military is held by a black man

and he was like yal go ahead :flabbynsick:

but yeah fr Yang was putting motherfukkers in the blender out there..... dude was the GOAT. and I'll always love how as the series progresses, the documentary/reflective nature of the series starts to ask "why didn't Yang do more?"

Its really a special series fr
Yang is an Aizen level cheat code but breh is lazy AF. If he was even 1/2 as motivated as some of the background players, the Empire would have fallen.

This is why I'm gradually just switching over to light novels. It only took 5 years between season 2 and season 3. I don't follow Konosuba closely but I'm trying to imagine waiting 5 years between seasons of a show when the source material is still actively being made and updated.

To me comedies when adapted well just hit differently than reading them.

You know people got to have a comment for everything. There are plenty of shows that I just want to watch the anime only. A lot isn't worth the time to read imo. Anime is always much more immersive and doesn't take a huge amount of my time. Unlike when I read the source since I can't eat and read at the same.

I had that same adverse reaction to reading stuff that a lot of people have here initially. Bought a Kindle and read began reading a series I knew was unlikely to ever get a second season and evolved from there. I mostly read comedies and well adapted timely released anime versions are very rare. Anime tends to butcher, speed through, and cut out a lot of content. It can't help it being a derivative product. Usually the choices made for an anime adaptation are not for the better.

To me reading actually enriches the anime watching experience. When you read the original work first you get the full story and watching the anime becomes more about seeing your favorite scenes brought to life. When you only watch the anime the entire experience is about the novelty of seeing things for the first time.

I guess another way to put it is it's kinda like watching a movie you like more than once. Just because you know the plot on that second viewing doesn't diminish the experience. You may actually notice and pick up on more the next time.

All things considered equal watching will be better but in 85-90% of cases watching is the inferior version of the story with questionable editing choices that takes way longer to tell.
