Anime exist as a promotional tool for manga, light novels, and video games. For the most part it isn't it's own thing. Telling them to chill on that is like telling animators to stop making anime.

They let Asta style on nikkas a little bit earlier than they allowed Naruto to. Also the secondary characters seem to get wayyyyyy more attention and character development than in the later half of Naruto. Only character I can’t fukk with is the dude who is obsessed with his little sister

All caught up an AoT and I can’t say I like the direction it took. All the main characters have been deconstructed completely. There isn’t even a side to root for anymore just a bunch of factions pushing for their own agenda. I will say the person shaping up to be the show’s antagonist is surprising.
What are your thoughts on Kira Yamato?
Wasn't a fan of SEED or Destiny, so it shades my view of the character. He definitely had more dimensions than Amuro and if he weren't a pacifist, definitely would have had the most bodies. Guy decimated entire fleets solo but I can't bring myself to say that I actually liked him.

it was dumb. if dude decided to throw down, he was killing everything. it boiled most shyt down to his character crisis of the week - and the show simply wasn't written well enough for that

Laflaga outshined this man on his own show.
As far as the mechs, I'd have to agree on a number of them. I liked the Aegis and the one that was an underwater specialist, because that's a largely ignored aspect in the franchise.
The Strike, Strike Freedom were nuclear powered cheat codes, not to mention the Meteor attachments. Kira was wrecking 30 ships/suits in one barrage. They knew not to give Mika that type of power.
