Called me this morning all hyped with no fukks given telling me..... or SPOILING Boruto and told me about the “big event” today.

I caught up on Attack on Titan (I read the manga chapters, then I watch the corresponding episodes) and damn. The writing is so fukking good. I don't know the last time I read something so compelling.
For instance, just the way Hajime Isayama uses the timeskip is phenomenal. Breh didn't just do a timeskip to show the characters with longer hair and a new drip. He makes you know and feel off rip that some big things happened, and then peels it back layer by layer. And every time he gives you a bit of information about what went on, it coincides with what's going on currently, and will back up or contradict a particular character's assessment of the present situation.
So as a reader you're switching from character to character, getting to understand each of their perspectives one after the other even if they're contradicting, leading you to realize how much of a fukking conundrum they're in
And that's just how he's using the timeskip right now. Another thing I think is genius is how well the geopolitical intrigue mirrors and ties in with the interpersonal plots. Like two concentric circles just like the walls. It's all about negotiations right now, for the nations that prepare for conflicts as well as for the characters who try to navigate their network of alliances the best they can.

I'm not saying that he did the story to mirror the circular walls on purpose,That's just me throwing in there a little metaphor that came to me lol.
can't believe I've watched 70 episodes of Black Clover in a week. It's not even like this show has been consistently good. It has issues that I could harp on. but there's enough world building, likeable characters, fun battles to keep watching and looking forward to the next development.

Legitimately glad you're enjoying it for the most part. Like I said initially, there's more good than bad, it's not great but it's a lot of fun overall.
