:mjlol: Finished Peach Girl, breh this show messy. I haven't seen anyone this indecisive and the men in her life are okay with it until the last minute. And even the men crushing on other girls out and open. Even her friend is on the fukkery.
I saw practically this whole show watching funimation network as a kid at my homie crib who had the good cable. :russ: This and Suzuka was some melodramatic ass shows man

I had to fukk with the MC cause they was hating on her for being darkskin. :martin:

That show gave me a migraine. nobody knows how to communicate. and why do they stay messing with the chick with the black hair after all the mess she's done to them?. tough. I took a peak at the sequel, 10 years later...they still dont get it.

:francis:
There's a sequel? :ohhh:

(@winb83 voice) I'll just have to watch it. :whoa:Not out of enjoyment, heavens no. Its just a journey, exploring the bottom & feeling out the mundane and overlooked subgenres in this crazy medium we call anime.

Ill probably watch every minute of it :unimpressed: because I mean who likes these kinds of shows? Not me, no sir. I'd just buy the boxset in protest ( @winb83 voice)

How does the remake compare?

In my case I watched the first episode of Die Neue These, liked it and found out it was a remake, then I binged the original series in like 2 months.

Die Neue These is pretty good by modern standards, the battle scenes are clean, the voice acting is and updated. Although many characters have been de-aged and the character designs are a little too homogenous for my taste.

The remake is more faithful to the novels but I find the story lean as it knows it's not getting 110+ episodes to flesh out the full story. All in all it has style and substance but not to the same extent as the originals.

I would recommend watching the originals overall.

If you want a leaner, modern take watch the remake, if you want a full, rich experience ripe with history, worldbuilding, philosophy, brilliant, realistic characters watch the originals. And if I haven't mentioned it in this post, I'll say it now. It is the greatest anime series ever produced.

:russ: we had pretty much the same childhood breh, even though Suzuka was AMAZING and my favorite show on that channel

I've been search for old 2000s TV trailers/bumpers from the Funimation Channel for years and cant find Nothing

:russ: watched Peach Girl as a kid (which is wild in itself) & that aspect annoying/funny to me

GTO - so strange how much some of these kids hate their HOMEROOM teacher, I get the messages in the show but its kinda outlandish when you think how little you interact with your homeroom teacher

I think homeroom teachers have more responsibility in japan. Onizuka is functionally their parent away from home. If they even have that.

So these damn production fukk boys messed up slime s1 toward end and s2 beginning and not listen to author or anime studio how they wanted to do it

so I read online that s1 was suppose to have less bout kids and the sol part was suppose to happen with it toward end with the humans entering for finale but production committee or whoever it was said otherwise so they squeezed out 2nd half of s1 and add the surprising end of it with the demon as a offset and s2 beginning had to due sol to explain why this is happening
And like last week or today’s is basically beginning of s2

this is what happens when a damn committee interferes with shyt and not listen it messes up the flow
Which makes sense why it seemed off 2nd half of slime and if u add s2 with s1 2nd half it flows better and makes sense

that explains a lot. They just wanted some filler padding to make some extra dough.

I think I tried to watch and skipped all of that shyt.
