started binging black clover dubbed..its not bad. I see enough potential to keep watching even though its dragging early on.

astas approach to life has been endearing, despite the screaming. appreciates everything because he was given nothing, no talent and had to work for his power.

sees noelle being a habitual fukkup and is still impressed that she can even use magic. joins the worst guild and doesn't care, still given an opportunity that most don't have. gets a dirty boarding room to live in and is overjoyed because its better than sharing a cramped room in an orphanage. easy to understand why others want to follow him.

some early themes of turning weaknesses into strengths. overcoming discrimination, class differences. whether someone is born a noble or commoner not dictating their potential as much as their attitude will. all of this makes it better than Fairy Tail ever was.

I liked SEED better. Destiny was a train wreck. Especially how they switched the main character half way through.

I'm still salty the planned continuation of that series never happened.

After Seed was very good, Destiny had me hating it even when I tried not to. It made me not want to see another addition to that series. I can't stand another Destiny being produced.

While I admire the Gundam franchise, my childhood is like just Original Gundam and Gundam Wing. It's like having a catalog of a famous Musician. While I don't hate how the Musician decides to change their style, for me, I stick with the material that drew me towards it.

For that I am thankful, but my time with Gundam is over.

I remember Wing was :gladbron: and :ooh: :ooh: when I was a kid. I can't watch Wing now. It's too :mjlol:. Except for Treize. His swag was :ohlawd: Heero and Zechs were too robotic. Basically, "You must die." most of the way.

IBO and Origin are easily the best Gundam series in the Gundam multiverse. The storytelling is just :ohlawd::ohlawd::ohlawd:

Now the only Gundam show I watch is The Expanse :russ:

haven't seen him fight yet. seems cool though, kinda reminds me of Kyoroku from Bleach.

Yami provides some much needed comedic relief to break up some of the more formulaic portions. Thankfully he's more than just battle prowess which makes him more valuable as a character.
