This actually addresses the problem you & I have discussed for a while now: the nonstop nature of the pacing. Now they actually have breathing room between the 2 mediums, not to mention a chance for better production values.

This should be a net positive.

Black Clover finally seems to have gotten out of the awkward phase of puberty and ready to start macking broads with these last two episodes. Actually killed characters beyond putty patrol status last week, to get Yuno out of resting bytchface, and skewered Incest Papi this week to get Asta to go berserk. I know some of y'all fukk with this show heavy, but the fact these last two eps are the first ones to illicit more than a from me since the Patri vs Julius fight (70 eps ago) speaks to how mid this shyt is

Eren been on straight demon mode for the last couple of episodes, mans done snapped on some good shyt. He legit carrying the team right now, cuz the rest of the scouts on some scared shyt. Marley really was gonna bring the whole world on they head and they would have been none the wiser if it wasn't for Eren.

But Hange and Levi wanna try and buck up on my mans

also, note the (unrelated) symbolism of her aying "call me what you want" and the constant focuson her too big shoes.

She can't fill them.

I'm starting to think the girls' penchant for "healing" in the dream world and carrying injuries into the real one mirrors one of my own favorite self-sayings.
