Essential What Anime are you currently watching?

I mean, Jojo is action oriented. but it's not the style of action some people prefer to see, so it gets criticized a lot for being too weird.

you really can't make any form of anime in any genre without some people criticizing it. which is fine when we don't all like the same stuff.

Basically. Like I said a little while back, everyone has their own lane and there's no universally acclaimed series so people should respect it.

You know I always considered watching this but the synopsis that I read make me pick something else.

What makes it good?

I put it off for so long because of the synopsis, it just doesn't make sense. But i decided to watch it because its similar to mawaru penguindrum and rose of versailes.

judging from the outside, it looks like a normal shojo highschool show but its far from it and that's what's keeping my attention. I'm going to binge watch some more episodes this weekend.

True, but then I can say GOH or the 1st season of FF isn't the type of story that people wanna see so it gets criticized, regardless of how well the action is done.

2021 looks even drier.

Sounds about right. Newer anime tend to get picked apart more than older stuff with established stanbases. Hard to live up to jaded expectations.

I just went down the rabbit hole and watched the video from the real K-Pop group that I didn’t even know was a group

don’t get me started on k pop I’m so knee deep in it
I found out about black pink before they got big and introduced it to my girls and that’s all I hear now especially since new album just dropped and got another daughter who loves BTS
Then all the girls watch k drama too

First season of FF was a lot of setup. Show didn't really start to mesh until the second half of the first season. It has ramped up insanely since then, almost feels like they're throwing out too much plot currently but they are managing it well with the action and characters.

Btw, nobody talking about Haikyuu! returning? The formula of the series is getting kinda predictable but that animation quality and sports hype is serious.

Yeah Haikyuu right now is amazing, idgaf if the formula is predictable that show is hype in its purest form

If y'all not up on Haikyuu by now, y'all are fukking up
