Definitely overrated. First season was cool, especially a couple of the fights, but overall not that interesting.

The problem with Subaru haters is y'all be expecting too much from him, this isn't a shounen where he's gonna magically get a new ability every time a new foe appears. He's a normal human, y'all act like y'all would do betterdrop y'all in that world with the same ability and you'd be tied up by the witch cult
All he had to do was stop simping Emilia and dip from that whole situation but besides that nobody would have been able to defeat Elsa, the White Whale or Petelgeuse like he did
The only time he did somethin stupid was when he called himself a Knight and got beat tf up for it

first time he dies:
He wasn't prepared and dies
not his fault he couldn't have known
But now he does know a lot more to do better on his second rund
2nd time:
He doesn't tell anybody about Elsa, retard mistake number 1
Even with the secret that he can't tell about his power he still can elude to wait might happen.
I know no one in sanctuary who has any powers can come back since the prisoners until the trial is done. But ram can still go.
Again he doesn't ask ANYONE for advice on how to possibly deal with this if in the future this might happen.
He goes back one day early and instead of making a plan he looses everything AGAIN because he is interrogating Frederica.
3rd time
NOW he knows she is there 2 DAYS earlier and this gives him the chance to leave right when he revives so he has at least 1 day of prep to fight Elsa.
BUT AGAIN HE GOES FULL fukkING RETARD
It has NOTHING to do with shounen this guy is a fukking retard. Stop making excuses for his retarded decisions, at least 50% of us would know what to do after the first time.

aiight if there are point not in the anime but in the novel nothing I can do. However I read light novels I enjoy NEVER in my life will I ever read this Basura novel.

And it doesn't matter when he shows up at the mansion because everytime he does Elsa pops up, no matter the day, so he don't need to go yet. Finish the trials and come back to the mansion with Garfield, the clones, Roswaal, Emilia, Puck and Ram and he should win.
