golden boy is still as funny as I remember. and Kintaro is the GOAT MC for his genre.

rewatching the subbed version this time and cannot tell a difference between the english/japanese VA quality. don't see that often.

I just think the fact that I'm basically new to anime helps my mindset. I don't have any biases towards any shows or anything. I'm also not the type of person who allows opinion's of others dictate mine. We all ain't gonna like the same shyt. I may like something from a show that you hated and vice versa. I also don't read manga.

I’m fairly new to anime aswell and I can say it’s better when you don’t look at top anime lists or follow the hype Aside from dragon ball I have only watched maybe 10 shows

death note is top 3 to me
Hunter. X hunter is dope
Sword art online is an acquired taste but I liked most of it
Dr stone is good
Black clover is good
MHA is good but could be great if the lead wasn’t so annoying
Darwin’s game is dope too
I’m currently watching food wars and it’s interesting
I get the appraise for attack on titan but not my fav
And I watched a few seasons of FMA brotherhood and it ain’t nothing special to me. It’s typical anime with some good arcs and some ok ones idk. But that one isn’t all that to me. So yea it’s better to just watch what you like and avoid opinions cause I’ve never heard a bad word spoken about FMA and yet I still don’t care for it and I would have never watched it if it wasn’t for threads like this

One of my best friends put me on to the animes I'm watching. We link up every night to watch anime and get high. I'm stubborn as fukk when it comes to watching new things or listening to music. It's something I'm trying to work on. Before he put me on to other shyt, all I watched was Dragon Ball and Pokemon if you consider Pokemon to be anime. It's unfortunate that he just told me the other night he's moving to Virginia in a few months too. He's basically the only one of my friends who watches anime.

I agree about HXH, that was a dope show. I enjoyed the hell out of it. I'll rewatch eventually. That's basically the only one you mentioned that I watched in entirety. I saw the 1st 2 episodes of FMA but I don't know if it Brotherhood or not. Also seen some of MHA with my friend and I'm sure I'll check that out on my own. I'm honestly glad to find a thread where people actually discuss anime instead of the typical weirdo shyt I've seen where it's basically people posting pics of anime chicks. That's fukking creepy to me.

dog, remember the shyt TON of AMVs that came out after the Ichigo/Byakuya fight?

Legit had the internet going nuts.

It was actually one of those AMVs (Rukia's perspective set to Jem's "24) that got me into Bleach.... and ultimately, back into anime. I damn near missed a golden age.

So much crack dropped in those next 3 years......

I've said it herre and in other threads a bunch of times.

Bleach was a literal wake up call to the anime industry
