Essential What Anime are you currently watching?

I'm new to watching anime. A friend of mine put me on to the ones I've watched so far. I just go into it with an open mind. I don't get too wrapped up in what other people think of shows. I usually watch and then form my own opinions. I really am enjoying Bleach so far tho. I like how they just jump right into the shyt too in the beginning.

good. cause really, every fandom has an anti-fandom.

except FMA Brotherhood, Ippo and Kuroko no Basket.

look at this very thread. Everything isn't gonna be liked by everybody.

I tend to ignore hype trains and watch the popular shyt out of boredom when I have absolutely nothing else to watch.

If you don't look at reviews and online criticisms, you're gonna enjoy the hell out of bleach

I just think the fact that I'm basically new to anime helps my mindset. I don't have any biases towards any shows or anything. I'm also not the type of person who allows opinion's of others dictate mine. We all ain't gonna like the same shyt. I may like something from a show that you hated and vice versa. Like we discussed earlier, it's all in the mindset you have going in. Even as someone who reads manga I can admit that you not reading helps maintain that going in, so it fits. As you continue to develop a taste for it, you'll find your lane(s) & ITT you've got plenty of resources for new material.

Right now, just enjoy BLEACH.

The strategies, the battle tactics, the world building, the politics

It even featured an anime version of the Mali empire

It's a gotdamn shame it only got 1 fukking season

Bleach is my greatest disappointment in all of anime. The whole final arc was a train wreck and left so many long time series mysteries and questions unanswered.

Initially I preferred Bleach to the other members of the big 3 but after the shift for the last 3rd of the season the fall off was unmatched. If I would have known it would have been such a let down I would have dropped it. It ended up being one of those things I invested so much time into that I refused to drop it but looking back on it I should have.

I hope the anime ending fixes it because the manga ending was unacceptable. The authors health was failing him and it showed in how it rushed to an ending. I remember how rushed Naruto felt as it reached its climax. Bleach was 10x worse. It’s worse than the fall off of Death Note after a certain character isn’t a part of it anymore.

I love Beach but it was always by far my least favorite out of the Big 3 and I thought it should've ended after

I'm sad that Wit and Production I.G are off this season but MAPPA is a very competent studio, so I'm hoping for the best...
