The Tatami Galaxy started slow, ended strong. Takes some level of commitment to get through it because the themes aren't immediately made clear and the heavy dialogue is offputting at first, but once you start picking up on the patterns and realize where it's headed the payoff is great. Kind of anime that won't appeal to everyone - would understand anyone dropping it after episode 1 or 2, but those that do enjoy it will put on their favorites list because it speaks to them personally.
If I watch it again knowing what's happening in the early episodes it's probably a 10. Giving it a 9 until I do.
