For as much as Tower of God has been hyped I expected it to be better. Maybe the manga did things better but nothing really impressive about the show so far. Hopefully it picks up.

The problems with the anime is the pacing. Everything feels rush so you don't get a chance to appreciate the story. You don't get to understand how much ol girl means to Bam, and why is he chasing after her to the depth of hell. I don't know which studio is behind it but they botching it up.
Personally I dont give a shyt why he's doing it.
I think dude's a complete simp and I don't sympathize with that, if I didn't see the end of episode 1 I would've stopped watching, so I think the pacing is fine, from the perspective of someone who was introduced to the series via the anime. I'm sure a lot of first time watchers felt how I felt about it.

Old girl was his 1st human interactions. She brought light to his otherwise complete and empty life, that has impact bros.Personally I dont give a shyt why he's doing it.

Agreed
I get why Bam is on some simp shyt, but I just don't sympathize with it nor find his story so far all that interesting. shyt feels like a less exciting Hunter x Hunter.

Basically how I feel at the moment. Like none of the characters really have shown anything that makes me interested in them. But I'll have to keep watching/reading to see if it gets more interesting later on.
