Essential What Anime are you currently watching?

When Mustang lost his sight the Homunculus were happy cuz he was the only character that they thought would be a threat.

With the precision he used on Envy (boiling his eyes and tongue but leaving everything else untouched) is some truly nightmarish shyt. He can literally blow out your pupils ( ) with a snap of his fingers.

Other shows have Fire based powers but few to none with that level of control AND speed.

Its a shame Naruto never got a legit villain.

Closest they came was Orochimaru. The whole roster really needed that contrast... MHA is in a similar situation

I don't feel like the class or city is under a great threat in MHA even with the league of villains. All 4 One is really only person on that show is really on some "I could body the cast" shyt. The author needs to work on that, cause most shonen have imminent threat.

One Piece has basically the Yonkai and anyone who serves under them, doing all types of shady shyt.

Naruto had Akatsuki, trying to take over the world.

Bleach had Aizen / Quincy.

The thing about MHA is that they are building up their villain and he's getting stronger with them as they get stronger. The problem is his characterization, I really looked at him different after the meeting with overhaul, dude has no plan, no roadmap for he's doing, he's just doing evil shyt from time to time casually.

Then again I haven't read any manga for MHA so maybe things change for better or worse as things go along.

dude has zero presence. its just as bad in the manga if not worse

every villain in MHA is weak tbh... they show up and you just wait to see how they get handled instead of wondering how long they about to terrorize the cast

Mustang is easily my favorite FMA character actually 1 of my favorite anime characters period. Got me wanting to watch FMAB again

In Doro they mastered the art or slicing fingers off so brehs can't get busy no more snap music for Mustang

Just getting stomped out by some fresh Nikes n getting pissed on in an alley "Shocking!"

One Piece is the goat shonen, period. The only other shonen on that same level are Jojo, Hunter x Hunter, and Fullmetal Alchemist IMO.

The Phantom Troupe might be the goat anime villain clique though
