5) Kataganari (obscure martial arts anime)
4) Gunren Lagunn
3) toss up between haikyu, hajime no IPO, and this cycling anime (Sports)
2) One piece before the pacing went to complete shyt. Water 7, Enis Loby, escape from Empell all leading to the war arc was some of the greatest shyt I had ever seen
1) Dragonball Z not because it's better than any of the shyt I mentioned before because it's not, it's actually pretty mediocre on a surface level but that's the anime that introduced me to the world of anime as such it will always be number 1
Memorable mention is Shadowskill (obscure old anime) where they had this one dude k.o. an army of 1000 dolo

That's fukking rough, I have seen so much content and then there's the emotional attachment and bias. It always shifts as I remember another series but for right now?

Also there are some that I recognize where great for the masses and vastly popular but I wouldn’t put in my top 5.
Of any top 5 list, this is probably the most challenging for me

I went back and started watching it again last night.
I actually own this series on disk via one of my college homies who kinda put me in to anime years ago and has this massive collection. He used to download and burn them and I would get copies from him.
At the time I never heard of it and he put me on to SDK
He's hilarious to me and he gets his moments of shine that make you respect his skills, if not his personality.
I actually used to buy the manga before the series came out. But i fell off.
I've been meaning to finish LOTGH but I hate subs. I watch anime in bed and i like to listen to it as I fall asleep
