So I guess nobody else watches Chihayafuru? Talking about a bunch of trash instead.

I had to re-watch the first season cause it's been so long. Watching it at this very moment in fact. The show is one of my favorite Anime series of all time despite the fact I'm not in its target demographic. The show is just that good. I was floored when the third season was announced. This is one of those shows that was getting animated and caught up to the manga and they put it on ice for about half a decade.

Watching the first season now. It IS good. Very good. But it's straight Joshi/Shoujo so I don't blame brehs for avoiding it.

It reminds me of when I first got into Akagi/Saki, and had no idea what actual mahjongg even was.

How would an americanized version of this go? With like random Rap/Song lyrics
