What have been your highlights of Black Clover up to this point, breh?:mjlit:
Black Clover is meh... Only a few memorable scenes to me.

Yami vs Vetto
Yami vs Licht
Black Asta vs Ladros

Everything else is pretty forgettable. Yuno is boring. Other Black Bulls are whatever. Waiting for some Fairy King fight scenes.

Say seeing you MHA fans ride or die for that show will never be not funny.

nikkas came out the cut on @42 Monks just for calling it mid:pachaha:
He's referencing the apparent disappointment of the manga. I'm talking strictly about the anime thus far. My dude even says nikkas will think this coming season is fire. So how am I supposed to rectify that opinion with a show that's only now getting good after 90+ episodes being equal or better. The breh @42 Monks most def gets his respect in here from me and the rest for his anime taste. We just happen to disagree on this one
@LordDeathwatch The Vetto fight was memorable, but Vetto most certainly wasn't. The Eye of the Midnight Sun has been a disappointment in general as the first big bad of the series. I have an idea of their motivation but it does nothing for me. The League of Villians' motivation leaves as much to be desired, but the shyt being a better watch because of budget does make a difference. We all seem to love OPM, but quality of animation has been the biggest gripe all season so how do we then turn around and claim a show is "merely" living off a budget which has given us better animation?

This coming arc is the Soul Society of MHA

Its gonna be FLAMES

but good lord this falloff is legendary :mjlol: I just can't emphasize enough that Promised Neverland is a genuinely better product top to bottom, anime and manga, story and delivery.
@obarth I'm on record giving OPM shyt for the buns level animation, a few of the brehs weren't happy about it but I call it like I see it. :MauryORly:

As far as the MHA/BC debate, as a BLEACH stan, I'm used to being in the minority.
I should've listened :francis:

OPM is just so fukking bland and lifeless the vast majority of the time. Its got its moments but man.... The "Hero Hunt" stuff just did nothing for me and its gone on forever too. They've introduced so many characters in OPM and haven't really done anything with anyone since the very beginning. At some point, shows gotta be called out for being too shook to actually move forward.

You already know I'll be the first one to call trash, trash. I'm out here calling trash fire in the form of Black Clover. Don't try to act like I wasn't hyping The Promised Neverland:ufdup:

I'm not going hard on Amuro tho. Dude was young as fukk but quickly got over that shyt and did what had to be done
Plus Domon a grown ass man.

Kamille/Banagher/Kira tho were bytches all the way to the end.

Yeah, MHA has been fukking ass after the Yakuza arc. Absolutely nothing has happened and the current backstory on the villains is :russell: though I did read the last 10 chapters and I could at least acknowledge the story is at least going somewhere. I think I'ma drop it until it picks up again, if ever.

Promised Neverland though :banderas: there's nothing better than waiting 4-6 chapters, binge reading them and go :wow: about what unfolded. Taking "so demonic" to new levels :wow:

Its funny because BC vs MHA are alike in that they are so opposite to each other

MHA seriously over preforms for what it really is and BC really under preforms for what it is

MHA is lowkey a mediocre series that has insane production value and has godtier directors working on it.

BC has a lot more going for it in terms of worldbuilding and setup than MHA and more interesting arcs if we look at purely anime. BC however, suffers in animation and tropey-ness especially earlier on

MHA started off strong asf with an emotionally gripping intro while blacc clover started of with Asta trying to rupture my eardrums :snoop:

On the other hand, outside of some key moments not too much really popped off in mha like that yet meanwhile BC provided the water temple, land of the witches and now this whole infiltration piff :wow:

Its going to be reaal quiet for the clover kingdom once MHA gets its yakuza arc rolling though:hubie:

Lol @ nikkas hyping the Yakuza arc for MHA...the production value for the last fight will probably be cool but the arc as a whole was ASS, yall boys gonna be hella disappointed.

Only cool moments
-Miro fighting before his power got snatched

-Overhaul killing magne

-my man Mr. Compress getting payback on chisaki

shyt is high key the most dissapointing arc in the series besides the class a vs b training arc where the deku's power twist happened.
