Part 5 of Jojo is done :wow:..... sort of in my feels because I been watching this every Friday since October. The gang feels like my family now but it's over:mjcry:

Here are my thoughts:

- I'm still not on the logic of Buccarrtti dying but somehow lasting the last 15 episodes but I'll accept it because breh is a legend :smugdraper:........ That flashback showed me how charismatic and how much of a leader he was...

-Is Mista the reason why Narncia and Abbi dies??:mjlol:

Part 5 a classic

Both these points go hand-in-hand.

The death of Buccarati as depicted by the stone was his death at the hands of Diavolo. The crew would've never betrayed Diavolo then and the story would technically have ended.

Mista changed fate by destroying the rock, which puts Buccarati on the trail of Giorno. Giorno joining the crew leads to him giving Buccarati's body life energy after he's entered the state of death, which keeps his soul up and running for a bit longer. This sparks the events of the crew betraying the boss that eventually get Abbachio and Narancia killed.
Honestly the biggest story problem was Araki just dropping Fugo like that, he could've at least done something with the character later on. It also seems to me that the Green Day Stand basically became the stand-in (pun intended) for the Purple Haze fight we would've otherwise gotten.

lots of people are complaining about the flashback but I love it because it fukking explains why buccarrti was still alive and I wanted to know so bad because it was driving me crazy.

But yeah.. fugo was the biggest L this story had. shyt probably would have been wild because giorno and the gang would of had to kill fugo to get to the boss.

Black Clover Episode 1

It was aight :ehh: I hear here and there it's one of the "new Big 3, new big 3" so I'm definitely curious about it. I understand considering Attack on Titan one of the best seinen out there, but I hope MHA isn't in the convo :mjlol:

It's always amusing seeing how other cultures depict Western culture that we're accustomed to. I'm talking about the whole Christianity thing in this episode, with the sister Asta can't marry. I don't know how Christianity makes sense in a magic world but that's funny.

I can't stand Asta's voice actor though :hhh: I hope he tones it down in next episodes.

Animation is really clean, some 3d here and there, that's cool! :ehh:

The last couple of episodes of Black Clover have been great. That doesn't excuse the fact that it took 90 episodes of some of the most generic, trope filled filler to get there. Demon Slayer has done more in 17 episodes than Black Clover in damn near 100. Jojo part 5 kept us on the edge of our seats on a weekly basis. Attack on Titan hit emotional highs and lows that you felt deeply. shyt, One Punch Man, shytty animation and all, has at least been entertaining. I'm not giving Black Clover a pass for being one of the most tedious and unrewarding watches in a very long time.

@42 Monks You tripping tripping if you think Black Clover is seeing MHA in any sense. The number of memorable battles alone eclipses Black Clover and as weak a main character as Deku is, he stands head and shoulders above Asta

my opinions are formed straight from the manga

as dumb as Astra is.... its tolerable. Deku is Ichigo but worse. If you look at the scope of what's actually happened in MHA too, its a bunch of fukking nothing.

I'm not caught up on the mange, and I agree that the conflict in MHA hasn't been fleshed out enough to warrant caring about, but I don't see how you can hold that against MHA while propping up Black Clover:dwillhuh:shyt, All Might being a symbol and influence deterring evil and his need to pass that symbol on is more compelling than these Eye of the Midnight Sun nikkas who are mad for whatever reason and this Wizard King who I know nothing about besides him being really strong.
