I don't know. I'm 3 episodes in and the pace seems fine. However, this might be one of those 12-13 episode animes (hope not).

If it's from the same creators that did soul eater it's probably gonna go 2 seasons at least 24 episodes per season.

Carole & Tuesday might sell more CDs than Blu Ray copies. Music drives the appeal of this anime. It has me taking genres I don't care about seriously just because the characters are easy to root for.

Definitely borrowing from Macross in that music is used as a bridge to unite cultures. No one seems to be separated even though most ethnic groups and orientations are represented. Think the OP captures that pretty well

I hope Carole dropkicks her could not believe she hired goons to kidnap her daughter. The brother seems to realize their mom is trash so hopefully he helps them out in the end.

I didn't make the connection between her and trump...that would make a lot of sense in a show that's pushing diversity. Ton of people of color, different orientations and a leading politician who doesn't give a fukk about them
