Fire force is pretty dope sohh far:leon:

I wasn’t expecting the animation to be that piff

The protagonist creepy grin he does when he gets nervous is funny af to me:heh:

Hope the story picks up and gets interesting

Dr. Stone anime is solid I dropped the manga awhile back but I always liked the general premise of it. I think it’s gonna keep my attention more as a anime than the manga.

Could you go into more details why?

Well weve now seen the genre advance beyond what yuyu is. The fights arent as interesting and clever as they used to be, yusuke himself doesnt shine as a protagonist until the very end, and the concept has been emulated and has been done better over time IMO.

YuYu is a case to me of an originator that has been surpassed over time. I have to remind myself that its one of the OGs constantly, it used to be unique but now it isnt anymore. I expect people to disagree but thats just my thoughts on it.

I saw Netflix had Granblue Fantasy and Record of the Grancrest War. Binged both immediately. Hoping they put Hero and the Demon Queen on there too.

Yusuke being an unapologetic bully who taunts his opponents before during and after he whoops their ass does separate him from the usual honorable shounen lead, and he receives a complete character arc full of personal conflicts and triumphs while most of his peers never really mature. You can say the same for Kurama, Hiei and Kuwabara who even as secondary characters are deeply explored.

I kinda get not liking YYH in 2019 because of the outdated visuals. execution wise I don't think there are any better copycats out there. Beelzebub & Bleach borrow from YYH the most and they aren't that similar/nearly as good.

Finished most of the UC Gundam series. Currently half way through Unicorn.

Amuro is prolly my favorite pilot. Kamille was annoying. Judah was alright. Io from Thunderbolt was cold (have to continue the series in the manga smdh.) Banagher so far is pretty bytchmade. When Riddhe snatched the Beam Magnum out his hands and merked ole girl, that shyt was :snoop:

bytch killing everything in sight and you on some pacifist shyt. Cant stand these anti-war activist protagonists, bruh. They getting hella nikkas killed because they on some bullshyt. Its war, lil nikka. Man up and do your job.

Not only is yusuke a cocky punk, he also has a girlfriend. And changes his outfits and hair. I dont know about anyone else but these little diverges from tropes really puts Yusuke in my top 3 characters of alltime.

It's my first time watching this show so I can't really say.
I just saw Yusuke knock out Heiei
All I know already Botan is #ReaperBae

bars:wow:

Glad you're enjoying it. Just keep going through it without preconceived notions or letting the opinions of others influence your viewing experience.

I've watched an unhealthy amount of anime & conversed with people who are even worse, it never gets old honestly.
