Ok @Jmare007 Im caught up.

Funny thing is, I’m watching the latest ep and was confused in the first 2 mins and it dawned on me that I ain’t see the previous ep. I last left off with the kids going past the gate in the more modern world.

So I somehow missed the immediate next one.

But after watching these 2 back to back

Man I’m still overall confused? WTF

So like is this shyt doing some Lost shyt where they Flash Forwarding and Flash Backing at the same time?

Cuz I thought all that was the past till Owl name dropped some current characters names, so I’m like “can he see the future or was that the future”

This shyt is getting convoluted

Also, what was it Eren about to say? What he mean he protecting Historia? Did he mean if he said what he was about to say they would feed her to him or something?

That happens a lot of unfortunately. Lot of kids get put into homes that reject them over time. Hina's bullying experience is also true to the overworked teachers who lose control of the classroom and parents who refuse to believe their child is doing wrong. Great thing about Sangatsu is every single thing that happens can be traced to IRL. As real as an anime can really get. Glad you liked it so I'm not just talking to myself in this thread anymore.

Check out Natsume and the Book of Friends sometime if you haven't already. Very similar character arc. Natsume is basically Rei without glasses and not autistic (Rei actually is an autist, I think. Shows symptoms aspergers too). I think it's easier to watch with more supernatural stuff going on and the opening is the most relaxing thing ever

Wow, you are way more perceptive than I was watching, you pointing out Rei being autistic provides a whole new layer didn't even think about, he had every symptom of being so and I never put together, wow that's excellent detail. I will say my only issues is I wanted them to go into detail more on Akari's feelings and development to how she was than, a 23 year old put in charge of watching of her siblings, cooking & providing for them because her mother/grandma passed is such a tough task, I assume her "demeanor" during the show wasn't always like that and would have been very interesting.

Everything you saw about Grisha story was the past, his backstory is used to explain the real world AoT is set in, the lore and answer questions about the Titans (what are they, how they "work", etc.).

The Owl thing is still debated even for manga readers tbh. It has to do with the paths (that were explained in this episode) every eldian is connected with but the point of him name dropping Armin and Mikaza is for you to go just like Eren dreaming in the first episode of the show about stuff that would happen in the future.

-Eren thinks that he was able to use the Coordinate during season 2 - when he sent all those Titans against Reiner and the rest - because he touched Dina Fritz, Griesha's first wife, who had royal blood. It's the same blonde titan with the big ass creepy smile that eats Eren's mom, that's Dina Fritz.

Eren figures out that maybe if he comes into contact with someone with royal blood he might be able to use the Coordinate at his will....but 1) he's not sure he's right and 2) he has no idea what the military would do to Historia if he tells them his theory (feeding her to him is a possible scenario). So he decides to shut the fukk up and avoid any fukkery/trouble.

Honey & Clover had a character just like him named Hagu. Same author as Sangatsu

the manga goes into further detail with Akari....a certain someone shows up related to the sisters that she and Rei have to deal with. Worth checking out since i dunno when we'll get a 3rd season

Yep.

But you see Hange's reaction and it implies she figures it out too.

The last few episodes of flashbacks have been done really well and sets up a lot of possible scenarios.

This show is GOAT level right now.
