He survived the fight with prosciutto because prosciutto used Mista's own gun to shoot him. His bullets managed to stop the bullets from entering his skull.

I noticed Mista fears the number 4 because its unlucky. had prosciutto shot 4 bullets instead of 3, mista would have been dead.
