I told ya'll about Asobi Asobase a while ago. It's crazy how this show went under a lot of people's radars last season because it was hilarious.

I’m giving Hunter x Hunter another shot since the dub is on Hulu. The first time around I quit 30 eps in because I thought it was boring. I went in with the wrong mindset, thinking the show would have a lot of fighting

Fights were what? Maybe 5% of the first 30 episodes? I felt like I was getting trolled, anytime thought hands were about to be thrown, the show came up with some non-violent way to push things forward.

I’m 4 episodes into my rewatch and I’m already enjoying more this time around.

I was in the same boat as you until I got to the Yorknew City arc. That's where shyte gets real and in the process, got me heavily invested from in HxH. Stick with it, it's truly a gem of a series.

Been off my anime for a while but it’s great to have JoJo back. Pt 5 for me was a hit or miss but I do remember this part having some of the best battles of the entire series.

And Giorno seems to have a bit more personality than I remembered

Maybe the show isnt for you breh

A lot of us here think its goat shounen status but its clear you dont fukk with the show at all. You skipped 3 arcs (1 of them being vital to understanding the nen system the show runs on) to rush to the yorknew arc and you dont like that either

you might be right. But on the other hand, not much has happened.

I'm kinda looking at it like the Alabasta Arc in One Piece. I can go on and on about how GOAT it is to me, but I can see how somebody would get bored and put it down before it gets to those levels of GOATness.

I'm real forgiving when it comes to shounen. It can be horribly generic until the mangaka figures out what actually makes the world/characters tick.
