It was the best show of its season. A lot of people ending up checking it at first for the quality and animation. Its not full of fights or anything - not that kind of show. shyt hits you in the chest though

Just finished it.

If you are looking for fights and action then it's not an anime for that. But if you are interested in a great story, great character development, top notch animation, then this one fits the bill.

Finally got done with Violet Evergarden. Without a doubt, it’s one of the most gorgeous animation I’ve ever seen, with a beautiful soundtrack and touching storylines.
Glad I ended up giving it a shot.
