So I just watched the last attack on titan. Is it ever explained with Eren's pop decided to do what he did? Why is he even there? Looks like that was some sort of family gathering and this random dude just shows up to kill everyone.

I'm guessing it's revealed in the manga, us anime only brehs just need to be patient.
