I finished megalo.I thought megalo was alright. the last few eps really stood above the rest. I like the MC, he reminds me of more serious Favarro (Shingeki Bahalmut). But the plot early on was kinda ehh. 7/10.

They build them like everything else metal and mechanized. They're the Iron Man suit made into 3 story killing machines with the toughest metal around. Why wouldn't they be superior?

Have you never seen Pacific Rim or Robotech or Voltron?

It wasn't bad. I'll enjoy the soundtrack more than the show though

600th anime was a movie about a suicide victim who gets a second chance at life by entering the body of another person who commited suicide. Really weird premise and didn't care for it until an ending twist made sense of everything.

Added Ashyta no Joe, When Marnie Was There, Fooly Cooly since 500. Swapped out Space Dandy, Nodame Cantabile and Gintama.

Of course I've seen the other cartoons but why do the white gundams seem so special compared to the ugly green ones. that break apart like ritz crackers... why doesnt the bad guys have superior gundams???

Megalo was one of those shows that was heavily carried by its artstyle and sound track.

The fact that it looks like a long lost anime from 98 is what drew me and a lot of other people in but the show itself was aight

I wish we got more anime that looks like it tho I miss that era of anime back in the mid to late 90s had that grimey look to it

Great anime, in my top 10. 2nd season is only average but it's still aight. Watch the OVA's before watching season 2 for story cohesion ​

How did I sleep on Kingdom ? Anime seems solid but the manga is piff, the scaling and strategy of the wars is on some other s***.​

I still can't be bothered to watch IBO season 2 something about that Gundam series is just boring as s***. Besides that great season 1 Orphans Namida track whole series is just to me especially after watching piff like Thunderbolt/Origin, i'ma still watch it one day to complete the story.​
