I briefly checked out the Boruto episode. When I first turned it on the first thing I thought was Naruto or Sasuke should be able to beat any Ninja after the end of Naruto, why is it taking them plus the other kages to fight this guy?

Then I realized it was just a retelling of the movie fight

Nahh. yo watch it. best anime of the season so far. It does have homosexuality tones i guess cuz the mc is a victim of child prostitution and the mafia don is a creepy old pedo. Its a gritty crime drama about drugs, gang violence first and foremost.

The guy who directed and key animated some scenes, Chengxi Huang, is a young chinese animator who learned japanese and moved to japan to work in the industry and Naruto specifically, because he's a huge fan. This was his directorial debut brehs.

He personally spent 500+ hours working on the episode. He coordinated with 30 other key animators including a couple of industry vets and a bunch of web gen(young animators who make crazy animated gifs online and didn't go through traditional animation education) animators and even american animators that worked on the Castlevania Netflix show to make this episode. A showcase of all the young, talented animators around the world of today. An industry event.

I just started watching Ssoul Eater a week ago.

The comedy is a bit excessive, but I do fukk with Black Star. Bruh, when Black Star was nailed to chalkboard for cheating on the test, and near the end of the test, Soul, desperate for answers was called out to by Black Star - and black star took blood out of his nose and wrote his name on the chalkboard...

...I haven't laughed with tears in a really, really long time. How delusional and egocentric do you have to be to interrupt someone taking a super-important test, to draw your name on the chalkboard?

Black star the GOAT ninja. Everyone starts off hating him but dude grows on you with the bullshyt. My girl shytted on him the entire series before realizing he was her fav character lol

Him and Asta have naruto's charactet arc just executed way better
