Essential What Anime are you currently watching?
You must be one of those, the only anime i seen is dragonball and naruto, type of die hard db fans.

I have my shows that I love I couldn't get into Naruto, it's TOO much filler... way too much bullshyt especially in the begining when I first started and they left the village for the first time
My go to series are Dragonball, One punch man, My hero Academia, Knights and Magic, Konosuba, in another world with my smartphone, Re:zero and Sword art online Season 2.
if the animation aint sharp ASF I aint checking for it off the bat... it has to have a certain art style for me to be interested.

different strokes i guess. cuz the first ep of yu yu is one of my faves. Just the emotion behind it alone makes it great. Thats just me thoI meant no offense. Like I said, I just started it, it reminded me of Inuyasha in terms of aesthetics, and some characters looking similar, but I am enjoying it a lot thus far. Compared to Hajime (last anime I watched) which pulled me in with just the first episode this took 3 to get into.

Some shows I really like and some shows I just find asinine. I'm looking for story style and characters and premise... I really loved gurren lagan that was a sleeper hit to me when i watched it on netflix but the story pulled me in and when camina died...
