Essential What Anime are you currently watching?

How are Durarara!, Legendary of Galactic heroes, steins; gate, fate/zero and serial experiemets lain? I've been researching some highly reviewed anime and those ones sounded kind of interesting .

What impresses me most about Lain is that it predicts the technology obsessed society we live in today. It was made twenty years ago and is still as relevant as ever.

Would recommend if interested in avant garde works that rely on symbolism and abstract imagery to tell a dense narrative that slowly unpacks itself over time. Has very high rewatch value and rewards the viewer with an analytical mind. Compares well to Texhnolyze and Revolutionary Girl Utena in that sense.

It also has the best opening theme in anime

that sounds pretty hype. Revolutionary Girl Utena is in my top 5 in terms of anime. I havent seen texhnolyze but I know it's from the same author who made lain. The only work I've seen from him so far was digimon tamers, which is has a rep as the different 'mon' show. The author rides for that show so heavy, its the only show he talks about on his twitter and website

Yes keep with it the show get better what I like most about JoJo is that it not about power ups like a lot of other fighting anime's but about who is the smarter fighter will win the fight because a characters can have a weak power but still win by fighting smart you see a lot of that later on in the series .The only other anime series I can think of that does something like that is Hunter X Hunter and fullmetal alchemist brotherhood, Fate/Zero.

Depends which you are watching. Jonathan is the weakest Jo Star and but Dio's pure scumbagness should have gotten you into it

GranCrest war pacing is horrible. And characters just popping up and joining the squad is annoying. Shame cuz I fukk with the premise of the show but I fear this shyt is just going to be a mess.

Boruto's finally getting mildly interesting. Gaara's adopted son looks dope. I wonder if he's related to the iron sand kazekage Oro murked.

Depends which you are watching. Jonathan is the weakest Jo Star and but Dio's pure scumbagness should have gotten you into it

So far Jonathan is the only JoStar I’ve seen besides his father who was killed in episode 2 or 3

I did like Dio before he put on the mask and became a vampire or whatever he is

Im on episode 9 now.JoJo just beat Dio last episode so I guess I’ll give it 5 or so more episodes to see where this goes but so far it’s kinda trash


Edit: and of course the very next episode Dio is back

I don’t think I’ve ever gotten sick of a rivalry this fast

Yeah JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is different from other anime's series you just watch part one of a six part saga about the joestar family I hope you find the next member of the joestar family more interesting.
